During his many years in radio Lee was called upon to do some wild stunts such as spending a weekend broadcasting from a motor home hoisted 40 feet in the air by a crane. And in public service campaigns he spent time in a lion cage to raise money for a zoo and was one of the first in the country to get drunk on-the-air (under monitoring by the Illinois State Police) to discourage drinking and driving.

Lee is well known for his years on the air at WIRL & KZ-93 in Peoria plus he was a co-owner/operator of Radio Disney in Little Rock and worked as program director and air personality for ABC/Cap Cities owned WHYT & WJR in Detroit.

Lee and his family - including two super cats - reside in the Peoria, IL area where he operates a voice over and production studio.
